Heather Finkel
Heather's journey in the beauty industry began as a receptionist in a hair salon fourteen years ago. She soon realized her passion for hair color and began studying at Graham Webb International Academy of Hair. Upon completion, Heather enrolled in a year-long apprenticeship under a french hair colorist. Heather considers hair to be a very subjective expression of one’s personality. She specializes in Balayage (a french highlighting technique that involves free-hand painting of highlights onto the hair; a color, remarkable for the dimension and definition that it creates), rich brunettes and has an uncanny eye for creating a believable red. While heather's signature looks can be described as vibrant, soft, and natural in appearance, she tailors color to suit a client’s eye color, skin tone and lifestyle. Heather's accomplishments include, Allure Magazine, Washingtonian and The Hill. With fourteen years of experience behind her, heather is still passionate for the industry and can often be found in New York, Los Angeles and Miami on the weekends, participating in advanced education classes with some of the industry greats.
Claudia Torrico
Claudia has been a D.C. favorite for years. While working at a premier salon in D.C., Allure Magazine took notice of Claudia’s work and named her a “Rising Star.” Five years later, Allure Magazine listed Claudia in their “Best of Beauty” issue. Washingtonian Magazine also took note and named Claudia in their “Great Hair” issue. Its Claudia’s attention to detail that sets her apart from other colorists. Claudia is recognized for consistently producing color with incredible dimension and creating natural looking highlights, which makes her highly sought after. As the industry develops, she is constantly continuing to take classes to advance her own knowledge and deliver the most professional experience to her clients.
